SUMMARY:SPEAK IN_UX 2026 | 1 day
LOCATION:Pomorski Park Naukowo-Technologiczny\, Gdynia\, Poland
DESCRIPTION:Register: https://ppnt.pl/kalendarz-wydarzen/speak-in_ux-2026/\
n\nSPEAK IN UX is a conference on the design of experiences and what these
experiences do to people: their attention\, their habits\, their sense of
control over their own time.\n\nFrom the team's perspective\, everything
fits. The numbers are increasing\, the target is accomplished\, no one rep
orts the problem. But the cost does exist. He's just being carried away by
someone else and he's not in any combination. A mechanism he was going to
engage\, and he's getting addicted. The path we've simplified for one per
son at the expense of another. A product designed for someone no one has e
ver met. This year we ask how to recognize such situations and what to do
with them.\n\nThe first day is devoted to effectiveness and its costs: how
gaming and pursuit of results influence design decisions\, why people beh
ave differently than expected\, and how AI changes the role of designer.\n
\nOn the second day we also talk about accessibility\, mental health and c
ognitive differences\, because not everyone receives information the same
way. All three are project requirements equivalent to deadline\, budget an
d result\, in practice being pushed to the end of the list or completely f
alling out of it.\n\nTalks are the beginning of the conversation. After th
e block of speeches\, we meet with the speakers on stage and see what they
agree on and what they absolutely do not. There is also time for question
s and for talks between participants.\n\nWhat will you find out?\n\nhow to
think about the effects of the project when the user has long gone beyond
the screen\n\nwhen it's worth deliberately making it harder for someone a
nd how to do it with their head\n\nwhat changes in the design work with AI
\n\nhow to design solutions that can be trusted within reasonable limits\n
\nfor whom you really design\, if you check the product mainly on you and
on the team\n\nwhat UX can learn from psychology\, cognitive science and n
eurobiology\n\nDla kogo?\n\nfor persons designing and exploring experience
\, UX and UI\n\nfor those who decide on the product and what really matter
s in it\n\nfor people working with accessibility and design for different
 needs\n\nfor students of UX and...\n\nDetails: https://gdanskbaytech.pl/ka
